WASTE SERVICES (VERGE SIDE COLLECTION AND COMMUNITY RECYCLING CENTRES)
What is an electronic Community Recycling Centre Entry Pass?
An electronic Community Recycling Centre Entry Pass allows you, as a property owner, full access to the Community Recycling Centre, the same way as the hard copy tip passes do by using a barcode image saved to your portable electronic device (e.g. mobile phone).
You have three landfill entries when it is first issued and they will renew each year from 1 July to 30 June on the same pass.
How do I use my electronic Community Recycling Centre Entry Pass?
You can present the barcode at the Community Recycling Centre as a downloaded and saved image on your phone. Alternatively you may prefer to print it.
How do I share my electronic Community Recycling Centre entry barcode with an additional (authorised) user?
You can forward the electronic Entry Pass by attaching the electronic photo image to a text or email to your nominated user.
Alternatively you can provide a printed copy of the Entry Pass to the person who requires it. However, property owners must first request and have authorised other people (family members, contractors etc.) to dispose of waste on their behalf at the Community Recycling Centres.
To request an authorised person to be added, find the additional user request form on My Mundaring Online portal and complete the required details.
The validity period may be limited based on the type of additional user selected.
I don’t have a printer at home, where can I print my barcode for the Community Recycling Centre?
You can print the Entry Pass from your mobile device or at either of our two libraries. You can also access your My Mundaring portal via public computer at either one of our two libraries (standard printing fees apply):
Mundaring Library (Albert Facey Memorial Library)
1 Nichol Street, Mundaring
Boya Library (Katharine Susannah Prichard Library)
119-135 Scott Street, Helena Valley
Alternatively, visit our Administration Centre, 7000 Great Eastern Highway, Mundaring for further assistance.
Will I be charged for a replacement Community Recycling Centre Entry Pass?
There is no charge for an electronic or own-printed Community Recycling Centre Entry Pass.
How do I check my Community Recycling Centre history?
You can check your Community Recycling Centre details and authorised users under the waste module of the My Mundaring Online portal.
I’m an owner, how do I let my tenant get entry to the Community Recycling Centre?
As an owner, you can set up your tenant as an additional user in the Community Recycling Centre module in My Mundaring Online portal.
This allows them full access for green waste and recyclables at a Community Recycling Centre and use of your three landfill entries.
Alternatively, you can download or send the Entry Pass barcode to your tenant once they have been accepted as an authorised user once being accepted as a Tenant user on the My Mundaring portal.
I am a tenant, how do I access a Community Recycling Centre Entry pass?
You can access the Community Recycling Centre’s for unlimited access to dispose of green waste and recyclables.
You will be able to purchase Landfill/General Waste Entries at the Community Recycling Centre for $60.
Alternatively, tenants can be given permission to use a Community Recycling Centre Entry Pass from the owner of the property to also dispose of landfill/ general waste. Contact your property manager or landlord to be added as an authorised user for full access at the Community Recycling Centre.
How do I add other users to access Community Recycling Centre?
Property owners can authorise other people (family members, contractors etc.) to dispose of waste on their behalf at the Community Recycling Centres via My Mundaring Online.
To request an authorised person to be added, complete the form, including the name of the authorised person, the registration of the vehicle that will be used to dispose waste, and the starting date of the pass.
The authorisation validity period may be limited based on the type of additional user selected.
How do I track my visits to the Community Recycling Centre’s with an electronic pass?
My Mundaring Online allows you to check the number of Community Recycling Centre general waste (landfill) entries used and how many are left in the current period.
How much are additional landfill entry passes at the CRC?
Once the three general waste (to landfill) passes have been used, you may purchase a $60 ticket for an additional load.
